Who can register a neighborhood association?

Any organized group of residents within the City of Jackson can register, provided they submit bylaws, leadership contacts, and a boundary map.

Yes. Registration and completion of Government 101 are prerequisites for Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP) funding.

A civic education course led by Neighborhood Services that explains how City departments work, how to submit requests through OpenGov, and how neighborhoods can access resources.

Neighborhood beautification, signage, cleanups, resident engagement events, and other small- scale community improvements.

Submit a request through the Community Clean Up Initiative form. NSD partners with Keep Jackson Beautiful to provide supplies and support.
