Jackson Fire Department Citizens’ Fire Academy Application

Applications are now open for the Spring 2026 Citizens’ Fire Academy, a one week program offering residents a hands on introduction to fire and emergency operations. Dates: March 30 to April 6, 2026 Location: Jackson Fire Department Training Academy Class size is limited. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Application deadline: Thursday, March 26, 2026 by 4:00 PM Email completed applications to csanders@jacksonms.gov

March of the Mayors is Back!

This four-week community food drive is an opportunity for us to come together and make a real impact for families in need. Food collection began Monday, January 26 and will end on Friday, February 27. Our collective goal is to gather 2,000 food items and every contribution helps move us closer.
