Angela is a native of Jackson, Mississippi and graduated with honors from Jim Hill High School in 1999. With over 20 years of nonprofit management, racial and health equity, strategic planning, and public health experience, she holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Stillman College and master’s degree in public health from Saint Louis University. Brown served as the Chief Executive Officer where she built relationships with city and county officials, health care leaders and community members to ensure access to health care for underserved populations. Angela also previously served as an adjunct professor for Washington University in St. Louis and Saint Louis University; and Health Initiatives Director for Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls.
